The port is located in a prime geographical location in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park – the most important international and domestic commercial cargo transportation hub in the North. Located right at the mouth of Bach Dang River with a draft depth of -9.5mCD and a wide turning basin, Nam Dinh Vu Port is the closest gateway to the sea compared to other ports in the region. The port is located on the same traffic axis connecting Gemadept’s port chain in Hai Phong.
