On April 16, 2026, Nam Dinh Vu Port was pleased to welcome lecturers and students from the Faculty of Transport Management and Logistics of Hanoi Architectural University for a site visit and field study at the port. The visit provided students with an opportunity to directly experience the port operating environment, observe day-to-day operations, and gain a clearer understanding of the port’s role within the logistics chain.
The visit not only broadened the students’ perspective on the maritime, transportation, and logistics sectors, but also helped bridge academic learning with real-world business operations. Through their visit to Nam Dinh Vu Port, the students had the chance to learn more about the port’s infrastructure, operational activities, and actual working environment in the industry.

Hands-on Experience in a Maritime Port Operating Environment
As part of the program, the lecturers and students toured the operational areas of Nam Dinh Vu Port, where they observed the port’s overall infrastructure, berth areas, and cargo-handling activities. This was a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical exposure to one of the key links in the supply chain and freight transportation network.
Nam Dinh Vu Port is one of the key maritime gateways in Hai Phong, with investment in port infrastructure, berths, and cargo-handling equipment serving logistics operations. With an integrated development scale, a total project area of approximately 65 hectares, and a berth system stretching 1.6 kilometers, the port plays an important role in meeting the growing cargo circulation demand in Northern Vietnam.
The visit to Nam Dinh Vu Port provided students with meaningful practical experience, helping them better understand logistics operations, seaport management, and the actual requirements of the profession in the future. These experiences offer practical value for their studies, career orientation, and deeper subject-matter understanding.

Strengthening the Link Between Academia and Industry
The visit by students from Hanoi Architectural University also served as an opportunity to strengthen the connection between academic institutions and businesses in training and developing human resources for the logistics and transportation sectors.
Through field visit programs such as this, students are able to access a professional working environment, gain a better understanding of port operations, and build a stronger practical foundation for their future career journeys. This is also one of the practical values that industry engagement activities bring to students.
Nam Dinh Vu Port Is Ready to Support Practical Learning and Industry Engagement Activities
Nam Dinh Vu Port remains committed to supporting site visits, study tours, and practical engagement programs for students from universities, colleges, and training institutions in the fields of logistics, transportation, import-export, and supply chain management.
Such visit programs not only help strengthen the connection between theory and practice, but also create more opportunities for the younger workforce to better understand the logistics and maritime industries, as well as the corporate working environment.
