Nam Dinh Vu Port is one of Gemadept Corporation key projects. This is the third port in Hai Phong and the sixth port in the port system stretching along the country. Nam Dinh Vu Port not only stands out with the most favorable location and the largest scale but also with the capacity to receive the largest ship in Dinh Vu area.

Nam Dinh Vu port equipments:

• Length of pier: 440 m
• 4 new QCs which are the most modern cranes in Hai Phong (outreach: 14 rows)
• Average handling capacity: 35 moves/hour
• Receive large ships with size up to 40,000 DWT

It is expected that Nam Dinh Vu port phase 2 will be completed in 2021. It extends the total length of second phase wharf to 900 m with 12 QCs.

Based on location at the estuary (large turning basin), Nam Dinh Vu port can accommodate many types of ships as well as meet increasing requirements from customers. With experienced staffs, energy and enthusiasm, Nam Dinh Vu Port has been receiving trust not only in the quality of container handling services but also Ro-Ro ones. In 2020, Nam Dinh Vu Port has welcomed nearly all kinds of 1,000 cars through Ro-Ro ship transportation.

Besides, Nam Dinh Vu Port provides barge solution to transport containers or bulk cargo depending on customer’s demands.
